Bi-gender

Bi-gender describes a gender identity that encompasses both male and female genders, and may fluctuate between the two, or, experience them simultaneously. Individuals identifying as bi-gender might feel a strong connection to aspects of both genders, or, experience their gender expression as a blend of both, neither, or somewhere in between. This identity is distinct from being transgender, non-binary or genderfluid. While some trans people identify as bi-gender, it's not a requirement. It acknowledges the complex spectrum of gender identity. The term reflects a sense of wholeness and embracing multiple genders within oneself.

Bi-gender meaning with examples

• Liam, a bi-gender person, finds their self-expression shifts. Some days, they present with traditionally masculine attire and mannerisms; other days, they embrace traditionally feminine aspects.
