Bigender
Bigender is a gender identity in which a person identifies with two genders. These genders can be experienced simultaneously or shift between them. The two genders can be male and female, or may include non-binary genders. This identity reflects a fluidity in gender expression and a self-perception that is not strictly limited to a binary understanding of gender. Individuals who identify as bigender may express their gender through various means including clothing, pronouns, and behavior, which might fluctuate in alignment with the genders they identify with. It is a form of transgender identity.
Bigender meaning with examples
- Sarah felt a strong connection to both masculine and feminine traits. One day she would feel distinctly male, dressing and acting accordingly.
