Binge-drink

Binge-drinking is the consumption of an excessive amount of alcohol in a short period. It's typically defined as consuming a quantity of alcohol that elevates a person's blood alcohol concentration (BAC) to a level that impairs physical and mental function. For men, this generally means consuming five or more alcoholic drinks within about two hours; for women, it's four or more drinks in the same timeframe. The effects can range from mild impairment and poor judgment to serious health complications like alcohol poisoning, liver damage, and increased risk of accidents or violence.
