Demigender

Demigender is a non-binary gender identity where someone partially identifies with a particular gender, but not entirely. It is a spectrum, encompassing feelings of having a partial connection to a specific gender, while simultaneously feeling disconnected from it, or another gender identity. The specific gender a demigender individual aligns with is identified by a prefix; for instance, demigirl or demiboy. The degree of connection can fluctuate, and a demigender person might also identify with other gender identities, such as being agender or genderfluid. It emphasizes a partial connection, contrasting full and complete identification within a gender.

Demigender meaning with examples
