Fibbler

A 'fibbler' is a person who habitually tells small, unimportant lies or exaggerations, often for amusement, self-aggrandizement, or to avoid discomfort. The lies are generally not malicious or intended to deceive in a significant way, but the behavior is a recurring pattern. A fibbler's exaggerations often involve embellishing stories, misrepresenting events, or stretching the truth for dramatic effect. Their actions often lack strong justification or benefit but can be frustrating as their deceit can undermine credibility. While deceitful, fibblers may often be harmless.
