Fibreboard

Fibreboard is a composite panel product manufactured from wood fibres, typically in a semi-rigid state, and bound together using synthetic resins or other suitable binders. It is a versatile material, known for its smooth surface, ease of machining, and relatively low cost compared to solid wood. Different densities and thicknesses of fibreboard exist, allowing for a wide range of applications, from furniture making to construction. The manufacturing process usually involves breaking down wood into fibres, mixing them with a binder, and then forming the mixture into a panel using heat and pressure. The final properties, such as density and strength, are dependent upon the manufacturing process and the type of wood fibres used.
