Gagging
Gagging describes the action or sensation of retching, or attempting to vomit. It's a reflex caused by something irritating the back of the throat, often triggered by the presence of a foreign object, excessive saliva, or strong smells. While it's a protective mechanism to expel potentially harmful substances, gagging can sometimes be a symptom of underlying medical conditions, like acid reflux or anxiety. The intensity of a gagging response varies greatly, from a mild, uncomfortable feeling to violent spasms and forceful expulsion. It's important to note that gagging doesn't always lead to vomiting, and the term can also be used metaphorically to express strong disapproval or disgust.
Additionally, it can be a form of control often used in the BDSM community, whereby a submissive is gagged to increase their feeling of submission, and increase the dominance and control held by the dominant partner.
