Half-awareness

Half-awareness describes a state of being only partially conscious or cognizant of something, such as an event, situation, or one's own thoughts and feelings. It signifies a level of perception that falls short of full comprehension or complete understanding. This state is often characterized by a blurred perception, incomplete information processing, and a lack of focused attention. The individual may experience a sense of vagueness or a disconnected feeling from the situation, not fully processing its implications. It may occur because of fatigue, emotional distress, distraction or simply because of being in a novel or stressful situation that one needs to process. The level of awareness is significantly reduced, affecting judgment and responsiveness. It allows a person to make judgments and form conclusions on the basis of incomplete data.
