Handsock
A 'handsock' is a small, often mitten-like garment designed to cover and protect the hand, usually crafted from a soft and flexible material. Unlike gloves which have individual finger compartments, a handsock typically encases the entire hand with a single pouch-like construction, leaving the fingers free to move and grasp objects. They are frequently used to provide warmth, absorb sweat, or offer protection against mild abrasions. Handsocks are often seen as simpler and less restrictive than gloves, making them suitable for various activities.
