Inertially

Inertially, an adverb, describes something that is resistant to changes in its state of motion. It refers to the tendency of an object to remain at rest or continue moving at a constant velocity unless acted upon by an external force. This concept is fundamental to physics and is encapsulated in Newton's first law of motion (the law of inertia). 'Inertially' can also describe systems or frameworks from which observations of motion are made, referring to a coordinate system in which the laws of Newtonian mechanics hold true.
