Interactional, an adjective, describes anything relating to or characterized by interaction, the reciprocal action or influence between two or more entities (people, groups, systems, etc.). It focuses on the dynamic exchanges, communications, and mutual effects involved in a relationship. This can encompass verbal and nonverbal cues, behaviours, and the ensuing consequences of these exchanges. It considers the interplay, the give and take, and the back-and-forth nature that defines how subjects relate to each other and how their actions shape the outcome of the contact. The essence of an interactional scenario lies in the impact one element has upon another.
