Internal-combustion-powered
Referring to a device, particularly a vehicle or machine, that derives its motive force from an internal combustion engine (ICE). An ICE is a heat engine in which the combustion of a fuel occurs with an oxidizer (usually air) in a confined space that is an integral part of the working fluid flow. The expanding gases produced by combustion apply direct force to components of the engine, such as pistons or turbines, and these motions are used to power the engine.
