Keg

A small barrel, traditionally made of wood, used for holding and dispensing liquids, especially beer or ale. Modern kegs are often made of stainless steel. They vary in size, holding quantities from a few gallons to over fifteen. Kegs are commonly associated with social gatherings, parties, and the brewing and distribution of alcoholic beverages. The term can also refer to the contents of the keg, colloquially referred to as a 'keg of beer'.
