Motor-mouth

A 'motor-mouth' is an informal term for a person who talks excessively and rapidly, often without much thought or consideration for others. They tend to dominate conversations and struggle to stop talking, often interrupting others and rambling on about various topics, sometimes with little or no relevance to the current discussion. This incessant chatter can be overwhelming, tiring, and even irritating to those around them. Motor-mouths may be unaware of their verbosity or may be unable to control it, stemming from a variety of underlying causes, such as anxiety, excitement, or simply a natural inclination to talk a lot. The term highlights the relentless, machine-like quality of their speech. This relentless barrage of words usually has a low degree of clarity or important information, more a torrent of noise than a helpful insight.
