Neuralgia

Neuralgia is a sharp, often severe, and intermittent pain that occurs along the course of a nerve. This pain arises from irritation or damage to a nerve or a group of nerves. It's characterized by a shooting, stabbing, or burning sensation and can be triggered by various factors. These factors may include pressure, touch, movement, temperature changes, or even seemingly innocuous stimuli. The pain can be debilitating and significantly impact a person's quality of life.
