Non-illuminating

Describing something that does not shed light, either literally or figuratively; lacking the power to clarify, enlighten, or make something understandable. It can refer to physical objects that don't produce light, such as a dark room or an unlit lamp, or it can describe ideas, explanations, or experiences that fail to provide insight or clarity. Essentially, it is the absence of illumination, be it visual or intellectual, leaving things obscure and unclear. This state can lead to a lack of understanding or a sense of being in the dark.
