Non-polygon

A non-polygon, in geometry, is any two-dimensional shape that is not a polygon. Polygons are closed figures formed by connecting straight line segments (sides). Consequently, a non-polygon lacks the key characteristics of polygons: straight sides, a finite number of sides, and the ability to be enclosed entirely by these straight lines. Non-polygons can be curved, open, or a combination of both.
