Paining

Paining describes the act or process of causing someone or something to experience physical or emotional suffering; to inflict mental or bodily distress. It's a verb often used to indicate a degree of intensity, where pain is actively and directly caused, or it is considered to be in its active, ongoing, form. This can range from literal physical hurt to a state of sorrow or anguish, often with a lingering effect. It can also extend to an absence of a desired state or a source of torment.
