Perceives

To perceive means to become aware of something through the senses; to understand or interpret something in a particular way. It involves recognizing, apprehending, and interpreting sensory information, forming an understanding, or forming an opinion. It's a process of taking in external stimuli (sights, sounds, tastes, smells, and textures) and internal stimuli (thoughts, emotions, and memories) and then processing these stimuli to create meaning. The act of perceiving isn't passive; it is an active process that involves the brain’s ability to organize and interpret information. It relies on the integration of incoming data and the individual's prior knowledge, experiences, and biases. Furthermore, the way an individual perceives a specific event may be dependent upon situational and physiological variables at any given moment.
