Procrastinator

A procrastinator is an individual who habitually delays or postpones actions, tasks, or decisions that they should be undertaking. This behavior often stems from a variety of factors, including fear of failure, perfectionism, poor time management skills, lack of motivation, difficulty focusing, or simply finding the task unpleasant. Procrastinators tend to replace necessary activities with more enjoyable or less demanding ones, leading to a backlog of unfinished work and potential negative consequences like stress, missed deadlines, and reduced productivity. They often experience guilt and self-blame for their delaying tendencies, yet find it challenging to break the cycle.
