Riled

To be riled means to be angered, annoyed, or irritated, often to the point of agitation. It implies a feeling of being provoked or incited to a state of emotional upset. The cause of being riled is often perceived as unfair, unjust, or inconsiderate. The emotion is often accompanied by feelings of resentment or indignation, and may manifest through displays of frustration or even aggressive behavior, although that's not always the case. While the anger might seem sudden, it’s generally a reaction to an accumulated series of minor offenses, or one large offense. It is also similar to the emotion of being 'wound up', and ready to explode.
