Step-grandfather

A step-grandfather is the husband of a stepmother, or the remarried husband of a grandmother. He is related to a child through the marriage of a parent to a person who is already related to the child. This relationship is created by marriage and not by blood. He often takes on a grandparental role, providing love, support, and guidance, but has no biological connection to the child. His role and the closeness of the relationship can vary depending on the individuals involved, the circumstances of the remarriage, and the age of the child.
