Toting
The act of carrying or conveying something, typically a weight or load, from one place to another. This action implies a physical effort and often suggests the object is being held in one's hands, supported on one's body, or transported by a means controlled by the individual, such as a cart or vehicle driven by the individual. 'Toting' can be employed for personal belongings, goods for sale, or even equipment for a job. It inherently suggests movement and relocation of the item in question. The object being toted does not necessarily have to be bulky; it can also be the carriage of small items or even living entities as a form of transportation, provided the act meets the requirement of being taken to another location by the carrier.
