Womanist

A womanist is a Black feminist or a feminist of color who is committed to the survival and wholeness of entire people, male and female. It is a social theory deeply rooted in the everyday experiences of women of color, particularly Black women. Womanism emphasizes the interconnectedness of race, class, and gender in understanding oppression and social injustice. It prioritizes the unique experiences and perspectives of women of color while advocating for social justice and liberation for all.
