Dehumanizing
Dehumanizing refers to the process or act of depriving a person or group of human qualities, feelings, or rights. It involves treating individuals as if they are less than human, reducing them to objects or stereotypes, and stripping them of their individuality and dignity. This process often involves the denial of empathy, the suppression of compassion, and the justification of violence or oppression. Dehumanizing tactics are often employed to justify discriminatory practices, social injustice, and even atrocities, by making the targeted group seem less worthy of consideration or empathy. It's a dangerous concept, as it makes it easier to inflict suffering and deny basic human rights.
