Energy

Energy is the capacity to do work. It exists in various forms, including kinetic (motion), potential (stored), thermal (heat), light, sound, chemical, electrical, and nuclear. Energy is conserved, meaning it cannot be created or destroyed, but only transformed from one form to another, following the laws of thermodynamics. The transfer and transformation of Energy are fundamental to all physical processes in the universe. The measurement of Energy is often expressed in joules (J), though other units such as calories and kilowatt-hours are also employed.
