Minions

Minions are people considered to be subordinates or followers of someone powerful, often behaving in a servile or obsequious way. They are typically portrayed as blindly devoted and willing to carry out any command, regardless of its morality or consequences. This can also extend to animals or objects used in a subservient role. The term often carries a negative connotation, implying a lack of independent thought or agency, and suggests a willingness to participate in questionable or unethical activities on behalf of a more dominant figure. The level of their subservience is generally very high and is rarely a mutual or equal relationship, but rather one where the minion is taking directions and is beholden to their master for their actions.

• The villain's minions, clad in identical uniforms, scurried to carry out his orders, their faces devoid of any expression. Their loyalty, bordering on fanaticism, was unwavering. The hero knew defeating these unquestioning followers was a necessary step towards confronting the true source of the evil lurking in the shadows. They would always defend the evil master.

These minions rarely questioned her motives. This strategy was at odds with the company's values of innovation, as all decisions went through the one person in charge. The strategy would backfire.

Their obedience was absolute. The few brave villagers stood up and fought back, ready to sacrifice themselves to defend their homes from the invaders.
