The act of not fully recognizing or valuing the worth, quality, or significance of someone or something. This can manifest as a lack of gratitude, a failure to acknowledge contributions, or a general disregard for the positive aspects of a person, situation, or object. under-appreciating often stems from taking things for granted, focusing on perceived flaws, or lacking the perspective to see the true value.
