Clot

A clot is a semi-solid mass of coagulated blood, or other substance, that forms in a blood vessel or elsewhere in the body. It's essentially a thickened lump, often formed as part of the body's natural healing process to stop bleeding. Blood clots are a critical part of the wound-healing process. However, when clots form inappropriately or in the wrong location, they can be dangerous and lead to serious medical conditions.
